I have not touched the landy, need to pull my finger out I guess (have been very busy though, will look at it in the new year). Lanes just outside Little Bytham.
because i want a 110 station wagon now!! it will be better for me missus and baby, she doesnt like going in the back its got something to do with it being cold, muddy, dark, uncomfortable or some such whinging
so my kind of sensible car (2.8 mercedes) until i have the funds
Recovery points...well yours isn't the sort of car you are going to be adding recovery points to, I am guessing. So as long as the standard ones are accessable I guess that is the least you can do? (don't quote me as other more experienced peeps might disagree!) Prepare to dig them out in the mud if you get stuck of course! In theory, you shouldn't be "breaking the surface" when green laning so *in theory* there is no reason why you should get stuck
Kit to take....decent rope, a few shackles, shovel. I also have waffle boards which many others also have. Set of basic tools doesn't go a miss, so when (if) something breaks you are self-sufficient . But again, I am not an experienced laner, so perhaps other people's advice would be a good idea (also check the other threads on here). I also take a set of spares, but that is probably overkill - that's only in there because I can't be bothered to take them out the back of the landie!
The recovery points seem cheap enough to buy, do I want to fit two front and two rear... it says they just bolt to the chassis... is it actually that easy?
