Tis indeed, I read it in the GLASS handbook, maintenance of overgrown bush is very important to ensure accessibility

Has anyone driven these lanes before? Am I going to have problems with the roof rack and all the kit on it?
I will have a think about some of them bu i think you will be fine.
There is one lane thats an absolute scratcher, and after the summer it will be mega overgrown also.
it is relatively easy to bypass though.Can I just check that it's not compulsory to have your bush trimmed along the sides to come on this trip

What about meeting in the lay by just before the M6 junction on the Leicester Road ?
well according to my sat nav- it will take about 50 mins to get there - which means a 7.45 meet in Rugby
Just checking the meet is still on for 7.45? Also anyone else coming this way is welcome to join up and travel together.

Just a reminder, its 0830am at Mcdonalds on the m42 junction 11
One big point to note:
This is not an offroading/mud flinging trip!
I dont do off piste driving or causing damage to lanes. And if i see it going on then i will simply go home. If you think there is going to be mud upto your wheel arches your on the wrong trip! These lanes are not going to be difficult or challenging
There will be banter(if you have a CB) and a few lanes that will take up most of the day, tea breaks(so bring your own tea/coffee mugs etc)
Im looking forward to seeing some old friends and meeting new people as well.
Will probably do groups when we leave at 0900am as its likely that not all people will turn up

Rugby lot ......Just thinking that layby may well be full of parked lorries at that time of the morning and we probably won't fit on it. Shall we meet up at 7.45 at the car park at the pizza hut on Elliott Fields instead ?
