Hi all, had my defender 90 about a month now. Looking to find some decent green lanes (byways) around the Leicestershire area, or if any locals fancy a drive out one evening/weekend.

If any one can give me some help it will be greatful,

Hi Depends what part of Leicestershire you are in but happy to come and have an explore at some point.
 
Do you know of many places, and im near Coalville/Ashby De La Zouch way... Im up for a green laning day!

hi mate, i'm the other side of swad to you... tend to go out a few times a month money and time depending...

Best thing to do is either sign up to a local club or sign up to any of the trips on here... least to get you started.

However, always happy to go out, especially for short trips in an evening :)
 
Yeah, I've been down to the Vikings Club night, and the Loughborough Land Rover clubs night, got a green laning day on the 17th. Was supposed to be doing one of the viking events at the end of the month too, but I'm away that weekend!

When ever someone wants to go out, just give me a PM :)
 
If your after pay and play days as well then theres Sibbertoft near Market Harborough, Tixover is on the A47 between Uppingham and Stamford and Yarwell is 2 miles down the A47 from Tixover. Would love to come green laning but i'm at uni till xmas now.

Hey, where abouts in swad are you / what do you drive? I'm just outside swad and, well have as is shown in my sig... :)
 
i regulary go laning in leicestershire, drop me a pm if aanyone going for a play please. also may be going sibbertoft (aavalanche)on sunday for few hours.
 
Hi all

Put me on the PM list for Leicestershire laning!! I'm in coalville (well, moving there soon).
 
Think we need to get something organised, just i'm fairly new to off-roading so don't know many lanes?!
 
Anyone in the Kibworth / Market Harborough area??

I have tried Sibbertoft and Tixover in my 1988 Range Rover, and would love to try greenlaning......
