Now that ive got at least one reliable 4WD to use im interested on joining a group going locally and having my first go at this. I appreciate with the ground as wet as it is at the moment lots of people wont be going, and living on a farm myself I understand the reasons. But who's in my area that does this and when are you next going?

Sadly I might have to let the side down the first time if its soon and take my double cab L200  as the Disco is currently shod with road tyres.

Get out, get out now :(

Durdy durdy git! :D

I have it because its handy. I can stick a ton on the back and drive it across a field. It is knowhere near as capable off road as the landy but at least it starts when I want it to!

Hi there

I live in the north of the county and go out laning. Don't mind a pick up with me, even if it's a L200:boink: Own a Navara myself for day to day driving.

As for when I go, went today by myself (known rock tracks only) for a short drive just to try out a video camera mount.

The plan is to join GLASS and go out once a month if the weather and time are ok.

Yep a little outside of Lampeter a village called Ffarmers I live very near the forestry and Dolau Cothi Goldmines.

Aye Jenkins are still trading in Lampeter.

Ermm just stuck in a ditch down the road then

Nice one! I rented the flat above the shop for a year while I was at uni - cost bugger all to heat!

I found a lot of the footpaths and bridleways either blocked, non-existant or impassable on foot particurlarly Aberystwyth way.

I need to try and get back down for a few days in the summer to see if Lampeter has hit the 1960's :D:D:D

A lot have been re-opened recently but a lot are still closed. Most are impassable on foot at the moment due to the shear ammount of rain we have had but thats pretty much the same anyway. Oh and sorry but we are still in 50s here.

I liked the '50's :D

...and Conti's ice cream and the 'Friendly shop' opposite the Black Lion that sold/sells everything from pastry cutters to vases for on graves to Rayburn spares.

Reyt little town, Lampeter ;)
