hi ,keep seeing grease your props do you slap the grease around the joint liberaly or is there a grease nipple or do you just grease the connection?did say i was a virgin disco owner once learnt and all that

there's a nipple on each UJ and one on the sliding joint.

found out mine dint have nipples on the front, where the feck did they go???

Someone fitted the "Filled for life" type, which is a laugh, they are no different to the ones with nipples and they arn't considered "filled for life".

Its because they are cheap. When it fails, put in a Hardy Spicer or similar.

they did have nipples, they were hardy splicer. they just dont have now.

take it the grease is inside the prop obviously thought you just greased the joint where it connects cant see nipples will prod and probe at weekend

I struggled to find the grease nipples at first. You just have to get your hands dirty and feel around the UJ's. There are pictures in the haynes manual.

When you feel the UJ you'll have like 4 recesses, it'll be sat in one of those on each UJ. Make sure your grease gun has a flexi hose as its a pain in the ass moving your bloody prop everytime.

ok thanks for that will get me a grease gun and try and lube up at weekend
