Just had my air con recharged at the local branch. "Didn't work mate, compressor not cutting in". Bugger! Ok no worries do I owe you? "No should do but don't worry". Got in car, pressed the a/c off button to on and drove home in a nice cold car! Cheers! Just hope it don't all leak out!

They are a bit deceptive though. Who but Land rover would have a light come on when it's off and no light when it's on.

When they charged mine they couldn't get all the gas in, I had to run the compressor to help suck it in, so I couldn't have used your trick :-(

It's about the only thing i'd use Kwik Fit for, they're not badly priced for an air con recharge, and free if there's a fault. Plus even a Kwik Fit muppet can't get that wrong Well, I guess they could, if it was working but you wanted it colder, I bet a muppet could let all the gas out and not be able to get any back in so you're worse off..........

Never heard of the likes of kwik fit connecting the AC machine to a fuel rail (it is actually possible) then phoning the machine manufacturer to complain there's fuel coming out of it?!?!? They know there stuff;)
