fitted my home made sliders last night
started by cutting 3mm plate and welding it in where the old trims fitted to give a solid base to weld to , ( still have the bottom and inner to do )
and got to paint it yet but well happy
also remover the tow bar:D

totally agree with wiltshire landyman.
removed carpets from mine about a week ago and the first thing i noticed,no more windows steaming up,no more smell and although carpet felt quite dry the sound matting beneath the carpet must have weighed 20 stone.it was absaloutley soaking but with the rubber back u would never know that amount of water is lurking underneath, not until your floor falls out anyway:eek:
i opted for the grey garage floor paint as its a good grey colour and is sort of latex so it does make the floor look alot better as it self levels (too an extent) and covers very well.only thing i would say is if u use this paint it will need prob 3 days to dry properly, feels dry after a day but if u hold a finger on it for few seconds its very tacky.
atleast now i can wash the floor out inside :D
