Well starting on the south side. There is a steepish uphill. About 10 mins in. Doesn't look like abuse. It's been cut out and it's got the slate/ shingle all the way down. Looks made dont think the tossers have that ability....

Yea abit Orr for wales but shall be going further soon lol.

Put barbed wire round the ladder and keep the welsh at bay! Beautiful set up. How did you secure your tarp to the disco I'm all poled and groundsheeted up to try the same.
 
Never really seen the appeal of roof tents but never been in one. Got an internal shot?

I'd check the map and also chat with the ROW officer. New lanes/roads don't just appear. They may well be there and "driveable" but that doesn't make them legal to drive.

Hate to see peeps get done for driving on private land. & gives a bad image especially round the wayfarer. Locals hate 4x4's enough round there as it is.

Redhand ill try and find out, I agree with you about the tossers going off the set track. And that's why I didn't do it. Just looks like its supposed to be there rather than worn out countryside.

Had abit if hostility last night from some ramblers and all we did was pull into a campsite! Telling me 4x4ers ruined the lakes etc
 
I got a lightweight one to make it easier to put it on and take it off so I don't have to leave it there all the time.





 
Ratty it takes a few minuits to take off but is heavy! 2 man job

Minty, best couple nights sleep I've ever had in wales. The mattress duvet and pillows is so much better than the welsh floor sleeping bad an rolled up coat I'm used to.

Mine only weighs about 20kg's but the down side is that there is no option for the additional room. I bought a caranex for that instead.
 
Id like to wait til Mr Ratty is asleep then drive his 110 down the M5 with him in that tent.

Next time point out that the foot path on scafell can be seen from space..

I've done a fair few thousand miles hill walking scrambling and clkimbing in wales lakes and peaks. & I've seen the state of the paths once they get a bit rutted and muddy they just walk round em and widen the fookers until you end up with foot paths wide enough to get an artic down..

No don't :mad: she already has mattress & pillows in the back of the 110 when we go away.. Spoilt fooking biatch that she is.. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :p

The only issue I see is you have to put tent down to drive round while on holiday instead of leaving the tent up.
 
I've never stayed in one place for more than a night... Accept landy shows. Then ill just take all I need so don't have to use the car... Not a problem
Fore but I can see how it's an issue.
