Hey,

Im new to LandRover ownership, picked up a G red 90 on the weekend which has had a 200tdi engine fitted. I want to do some offroading in it, It has snorkel, winch, 2 inch lift kit, diff and steering guards, roll cage, rock sliders and Insa Turbo Special Tyres - so hopefully will be capable enough to have some fun...

Im from the Midlands (Leamington Spa) and would like to go offroading with some other people at some point as I am a complete novice and don't know what I am doing! Is there anybody else around Leamington area?

There are a few places I am aware of round here (Halford, Avon Dasset, and ufton green lane), but would like to go when somebody is going who may be able to help pull me out of mud which I will inevitably get stuck in!! :)

Welcome to the loony zone!:) Any pics of yer motor?
Afraid I don't know that area so no suggestions, but there are other Midlands members.

Hi fella and welcome to the asylum ... you are now an official loony :hippie:

I'm not too far from you in Alcester but unfortunately sold my 200tdi 90 which I'd done up as a decent off roader and now got a more road and family friendly 200tdi 110.
I used to go to Wagtail in Halford which was good fun but you need others to go with as it gets very very muddy there.
I've done many jobs on my Landys so feel free to get in touch if you need advice or a helping hand. :)

Cheers for the replies, I am already loony so hopefully I will fit right in! :p

Fingers crossed this works.... Photo of my truck below. It is well and truly battered, but I prefer it ready bashed as I won't be scared of adding more scratches to it, or hold back offroad!!

That looks pretty good to me, few useful goodies, not too much useless weight! Appearance don't matter with an offroader, so long as you don't attract attention from the boys in blue.
