Why a rangie box? Means a lot of cutting don't it? Series gearbox dunt seem to struggle spesh with the rangie diff.

cos it comes with the injun am after and saves having to find a conversion plate and stuff. and i don't mind cutting .

thx for the famous aquarium piccy YD, i hadnt seen it for a few days.

aye its a manyule and its got carbatooters on the injun, just need to find a supercharger orf a mini and change the drive pully on it

No prob' if you can wait 'till the w/end? After it's MOT tomorrow I'll prob' be stripping off the carpet the bulkhead is plastered in. Not that it's a bad job, I just want to see what's going on underneath it.

If you need any other pointers or pictures (stuff like fitting a remote oil filter) give me a shout.

Are you using a similar engine to mine? One thing I'd advise is modding the nearside inner wing somehow as the manifold on that side is about 1/4" from it. If you ever needed to remove the manifold, you'd prob' need to lift the engine to do it!

The exhaust routing looks tortuous too, but does exit neatly thru' the rear PTO hole. Next big item on the shopping list is a custom stainless exhaust!

Anyway, ask away, though I'm only just finding my way around this one myself at the mo'.

cheers.

my engine got stripped out today, and i've started hacking away at the bulkhead, but i'm not sure where i have to do. the passenger side isn't a real problem, but on the drivers side there is the accelerator pedal lever - this is the part i'm unsure of whether it stays or goes.

Gord

Don't cut it yet, I'm sure my lever is still in situ. haven't spotted how the throttle linkage works yet. The truck isn't outside at the mo', but I'm picking it up this morning. I'll try to have a shufty later.
