at the risk of sounding a bit crap, the wiper blades on my 2006 90 are starting to perish -, but the tension on the arms is still good.

So, in my naivety, off i toddled to halfords (for some reason i never fully trust that the stuff from halfords is actually the correct part) - got a couple of Bosch super plus blades, but I'm f**ked if I can get the old blades off!

I don't want to force them (cos I'll probably end up bending the arm).

Is there a knack or some clip that I have to ping off?

thanks in advance

consaw, hack saw,jig saw, hammer and chisel.
best is spray some gt85 on the clip let it set for a moment or two and push the clip down and she will pop out, just wipe the remaining gt85 off the window.

hehe. got it sorted in the daylight :)

Ok, I was a bit (or maybe more than a bit) crap, but in my defence, the clip holding the blade to the arm was jammed solid - a small flatheaded screwdriver, a bit of a wiggle and off she popped!

I can see thru the windscreen again - hurrah!

having successfully negociated a wiper blade renewal, what do you think my chances are at stripping it down and galvanising the chassis ?
:)
