Don't know about the new style BFG mud's but i'm not in love with the old style, fine in mud and dry tarmac, not fun turning or stopping on wet roads.

You wanna try SATs or Mitchelin XCL's cos BF's are way way better than both of those on wet tarmac!

Haha Jai I know that all too well, My 90 game with SAG crossplies -very fun on wet roundabouts, not so great when you need to do an emergency stop...hit a nice volvo quite hard...i drove home, he needed a flatbed with a hiab...it turned out to be a good mate's dad :(
Griff, you are totally right. In an ideal world i would have 2 sets of tyres but sadly student finances say no!...Saving for 285 Insas atm :D

personally i hate wide tyres 235 are as wide as Id go I run 900x16 xl XCL pattern tyres approx 36/37 inch real size. I have some offroad tyres for comps when the need for grip is more which are 8.70x16 dumper type tyres about 35 inch.
