Yeh either the pump or the pipes.....only leaks when I wash it....

One of my pre MOT jobs is to renew the leaky pipe between the power steering reservior and the pump.
Gonna be a messy one methinks....

Have ya thought about putting a capful of brake fluid in yer PAS Boomer? As long as it's only a slight leak it should cure it to get you through the mot.
dont that fcuk the seals? - os that the idea - make em swell up so they dont leak?

Never heard of that cure ratty.
I got a length of pipe to do the job, just as well change it...
Besides, the PAS is not leaking - its the pipe between the reservior and the pump.

I've only ever done it as a short term fix (couple of weeks). I have heard of people that have done it and left it as a permanent fix and it's lasted for the time that they've had the vehicle. I spose it's all down to how bad the seals are.
