Hi Guys, Just joined and need some advice on a good reliable independent service company in or near Birmingham (South Staffordshire OK as well). I don't need major work just routine maitenace .

Searching the web I have located a few such as ; MJA, Ultimate, allabout4x4 and Jamesons.

I own an L322 TD6, is there one you guys would recommend for good fair service.
Doesn't have to be the very cheapest as I am still recovering from the main dealers laughable quote, I thought we were in a period of reducing costs!!

Jamesons in Summer Lane, Birmingham (By Snow Hill).
They know P38's and new R.R's inside out. Ask for John, Paul or Keith.

I found jamesons to be the cheapest by far and they do a great job too. Full service £180 parts & labour.

Thanks for the praise Ant! Have known Jamesons crew for years, they are sound guys and very helpful. One of their specialities is to fully rebuild, with a new body shell etc., including paint, the new Range Rover. Had the opportunity to see one they had finished a couple of years ago and the quality was superb-easily matched those rolling off the line at Solihull. Always time for a chat as well.

They do seem a friendly bunch, Steve even gave me a lift home when mine went in for diff replacement, didn't even ask if i wanted a lift just said, "we'll take the disco" and jumped in. I will be using them for all my work in future. Thanks again.

Hi, theres a bloke who advertises on Ebay, he's an ex LR technician. JUst go on Ebay and dod a search for Ranger Rover Service and he should pop up.
