Hello!
just introducing myself! not really new to landrover ownership ...well yes and no.
I kind of aquired my Freelander 3dr 1.8, it was one my dad bought to repair (engine) and later that year he sadly passed away. I ran it for a few months back in 2006. Then the insurance and tax expired and it was left sitting for 2.5 years. Kept meaning to advertise it but never got around to it.
Anyway, after my small commuting car to work (Peugeot 106) decided to go on fire! I had to find another car to get to work in. So, I fired up the freelander and got it ready for the road, and here we are 4 months later of driving it again. It's not a bad wee landy at all.
I'd like to mod it a little. Maybe some larger tyres? lights? side steps? and also, there's sometimes a dull thud when i change gear (if i dont bring the clutch up smoothly enough) any ideas? engine mounts? bushes etc worn?
Oh and finally. I also have a 95 e34 BMW 525 Sport, don't know if anyone on here is interested in them, being a landrover forum but you never know!
Phew, long first post!
