Bulkhead needs some attention but overall it looks nice. Welcome.

Yes the bulkhead does need a fair bit of work and that will be the first major project next year. I have decided that the restoration will be sympathetic using upgraded parts where available with the long term aim of having the landie last another 40 years!

Thanks @Gazbo I am sure it will, engine is as sweet as a nut, the other half was following me when we collected it and clocked it at 65mph on the motorway, tightening up the steering is definitely required

Yep, a lot of the old series have "the wanders", at 65mph how was the noise level, used to wear earmuffs in my old ex military Series 2A on the highway.Thanks @Gazbo I am sure it will, engine is as sweet as a nut, the other half was following me when we collected it and clocked it at 65mph on the motorway, tightening up the steering is definitely required

Noise levels where extreme but with a pair of over ear headphones and the ipod blasting all was good! Ha ha ha
