Hi Everyone! I'm Erik, from the Netherlands.

This Land Rover Defender 110, TD5 from 2002 is my Overlanding companion.
Well... Overlanding. I will make a new attempt in 2022!

A year and a half ago, my first World Trip ended in Iraq because of the pandemic. But this year, I'm going to restart the solo expedition. The route remains the same Turkey - Iran - Pakistan - India - Nepal, the challenges are unchanged, but the enthusiasm has only grown!

Maybe I meet some of you in the future, somewhere. Who knows!

This picture is taken while wild camping in Iraq.

Sounds like a great trip, hopefully you have received permission, to all the hot zones to travel through.
Wish you well and drop a few photos of the old girl in the places you visit.

Hi and welcome, sounds like a great trip! When i was a kid, my uncle and his family drove across to India, not in a land rover though

Hi and thank you! I thought so as well. So far, the Defender is a perfect companion. I'll post more when and where I can.

They sure did, from what i remember! Took just over 12 months if i recall

Have a safe expedition. Your greatest hazard will probably be the other traffic. Looking forward to good stories and photos.
