Hi ive got a 2l diesel hippo on a r plate (98) how do you change the glow plug behind the fuel pump has the pump got to be removed any help would be greatly appreciated
 
Yes its got to be moved/removed or you could just change the 3 other plugs and see, many on here do that to save all the extra work of removing injection timing belt etc.

Use plenty of wd40 on them (preferably day before removal attempt) so they don't shear when seized in place.

hi i have now removed the injection pump to replace the glow plugs but when i took the pulley off the pump the was no woodruff key on the shaft this allowed then pump shaft to turn and i have lost the timing marks.it now starts very reluctantly and smokes badly has any one got any ideas how to set the pump timing back up or even a diagram
