Hi all.

Almost finished with the re-wire job and got stumped by the warning light.
I have there newer type plugs wired in parallel so I know I bypass the resistor
But I can't get the warning light to illuminate when glows are powered. I'm obviously missing an obvious thing but it's eluding me.
To the best of my knowledge its all put back together correct. Tested continuity on the wires.

Checked the old loom and all seems to be the same. It's surely not as simple as putting one of the wires to ground is it?

Yep, it probably is as simple as grounding one of the wires to the warning lamp.
With the older series-wired glow-plugs, the warning light is across the resistor, but now that you've bypassed the resistor, the lamp is not getting any voltage across it when the plugs are on. So just take one of the lamp wires to earth.
Bear in mind, though, that the old system used a 6V bulb across the resistor, so it may lead a short (but bright) life now that it's getting a 12V feed!

If you have put the parallel plugs on but powered them as the series set up they won’t be getting the full 12v
How have you wired yours , is it same as mystery diagram can you put a pic up
To get the bulb to work fix one end to the heavy power lead going to no 4 heater plug and earth the other end, I used the bypass resistor fixing as it’s handy
Ensure the 6v bulb changed for 12v type
