Sounds like wheel bearing to me. If it were the swivel and it was that fooked the chances are the CV joint woulda let go too. This woulda resulted in a Del boy impersonation.

Anyone wanna guess if the bearing is now welded to the shaft?

Im with ratty on this one front wheel bearing.
He'll be on soon asking why the new bearing he ordered is to small (cos its a swivel bearing) but then again if he ordred it from shipart he'll probably get a wheel bearing anyway
