When I get new wheels and tyres on mine I'm gonna be going for 255/85/16s I think. Not the most popular choice but slightly narrower and taller so should do the job without any rubbing on full lock. Apparently these are pretty much the biggest you can fit without having any problems? Have seen a mates 235/75/16s and they look a bit small to be honest would like something a bit taller with more aspect ratio.
but the 235/85's mentioned earlier are a whole 5 cm bigger and are actually very slightly taller than the 265/75's mentioned. (just not quite so wide, so not quite as "big" in the volume sense.
Yup, so I'm assuming the 255/85s will be slightly taller still? on 7 inch wide rims will they go on a standard 90 without any spacers or rubbing anywhere?
If not I'll look at 235/85s instead. I know so far that I want an 85 profile, just not too bothered about the width as long as it clears everything
Well as no cuunt is gonna say do a search ffs use this will yu Tyre Size Calculator Alloy Wheel World
Oi, where did I mention 265/75 tyres? I know how the aspect ratio works I just wanted to know if the 255/85/16 tyres would fit a 90 without any rubbing (of the rubbery sort)
I did use the search but it just found loads of threads full of people being told to use the search. Laugh? I nearly started.
