am off to view a set of genuine overfinch 'tiger' alloys at the weekend, where, and what markings will confirm they are genuine?

They should have Overfinch written on the inside of the rim. Might sound like an obvious thing to copy, but many replica producers don't add this detail (maybe to avoid copyright?).

If they are the first owner they may well have the receipts for them from Overfinch, I know I would certainly keep them if I was spending £4k on a set of wheels! So ask to see them.

hey mrblonde i viewed a pair few days ago and they were genuine ones, had overfinch stamped on the inside of one of the spokes

hope this helps

Hope you have a friendly bank manager for the tyres if they need any. They will have "Pimps only" stamped on them.:D:D:D:D

haha i know Wammers!

Guys, other than looking for any defects, or damage are there any other checks i can do/things to look for?
Would rolling one along the path be enough to check for any bends/buckles? Or should i ask to get them balanced up at a local garage (at my cost)?

Your thoughts?

a couple of customers of mine have found out the hard way about the replica ones both have suffered split and cracked rimms due to poor quality one let go on his wife while driving at 45 mph (she was first place in the daz door step chalenge lol) hi got the rim repaired but had the rest checked and they were cracking too £900 cost him for the reps off ebay becareful
