That's effectively the same.
Defender in great condition, bargain price but a fault with the brakes.
So with the other one the guy said l could go and view it.
How would the scam unfold. The vehicle is stolen? l assume it is actually there when you go and view it. You're not going to hand over any cash if the vehicle isn't there, surely
There was no mention of a holding deposit, or any other money changing hands. l called the guy and he said he was away until the weekend but l could go and view it after Saturday.
Sadly it was too far away for me to go, otherwise l might have made the trip just to see what happened.
