Hi folks, doe anyine know if the square plastic gaiter retainer for a TD5 manual is available as a spare part -mine has lost its retaining lugs - minor irritant but better fixed.

Not with a D1 it's part of the gaiter, I would think the D2 is the same.

New gaiters on eBay for under a tenner. Worth a look.

I dont mind buying a new gaiter but I assumed it would just be the gaiter and you would have to fix it to your own securing / retaining bracket. I will double check.

Just rung land rover - £75.00 because I have the wood effect centre console and the retaining clips are a different size .

Those ebay gaiters don't include the retaining ring so probably won't fix your problem. I fitted some to my 200tdi and they look ok but aren't the easiest of things to fit because the leather is a lot stiffer than the original vinyl ones.
