What year is vehicle? TD4 or V6.
Which gears slip? All or just a specific gear or 2?
What mileage has box done?
Any recent maintenance done?
Was problem there before fluid change?
I had a slipping gear 4 on a 2001 model year and found a manufacturing problem. Not too hard to solve but it depends what yours is doing.

All gears are slipping after a driving a short while. Its had a oil change,which helped for a short time.. we have been told maybe a mega flush will solve it but because of the age of the landy they can't say

could it be the torque converter?
So was the "gearbox" slipping and revs red lining, or were there no revs?I haven't noticed. All I've observed is the gears are fine while cold and when it heats up the problem starts.. also one time it lost acceleration and wouldn't pick up even with My foot completely down
