no..i expect he means gearbox remap..
speak to ashcrofts..if its possible dave will know..i assume auto?if manual..what you fecking on about??
You can get the adaptive values reset on the gearbox. If this is what you mean by a remap, make sure you get someone who know what they are doing as the box needs to be setup again after an adaptive reset
why??nothing is impossible..
phone dave..if anyone will know where to point you he will..
and gearbox map settings will now not be in sych" with upgraded engine hp/torque..that is why om asks about remap of box...mybe wants harsher shifts etc..
one can use compushift to control zf eh boxes and indeed megashift for anything (and looking inside LR zf ecu i recon can be remapped)..compushift may be able to control whatever box you have..(noidea,not rich enough to own)..though finding someone to remap LR ecu maybe awee bit tricky..
if he wants harsher shifts on a gm box good luck to him. I can see it costing him a lot of moola.
I've no idea how this relates to the RR gearbox, but the VW/Audi/Skoda DSG gearboxes can be reprogrammed so that they don't automatically change up at the redline, the changes can be made a bit quicker and the pressure of the clutches could be changed to cope with extra torque. If I had kept my Yeti, I would have had mine done. The engine was also remapped.
Not sure on the GM box, but you can buy an uprated torque convertor with less slip for the P38.As mentioned above due to torque upgrade was looking at what can be done with the box
I dont tow anything so was wondering if the slip can be reduced
You had a skoda yeti ?

The box is barely up to the standard torque, LR skimped on the spec just as they did with the p38.
