Thanks for this ....,as I don’t have a parts book I wonder if anybody has the parts No. I’m a bit old to start collecting parts books now in my late seventies.They should be available from any Land Rover parts supplier if you look up the part numbers.

Thanks I’m getting the slick stick kit on Mon. It’s only a quick job so will see what it’s like When fitted then decide if I should change the turret.The bias spring is only there to position the stick (at rest) to be aligned with the 3rd/4th gear gate.
If your turret is worn so the stick is 'sloppy' when in gear, fitting a new one will help cure that. Bias springs and pins aren't expensive but I'd be surprised that the originals are worn ....
