Thanks to gardener for spotting the error in RAVE circuit diagram and posting his research ... Gearbox Overheat warning on constantly even when cold ... I just couldn't understand it ... all the posts helped with possible areas to check but nothing could explain the problem. Saved me masses of time and probably money too. Temp fix for 5 miles tomorrow then a new sensor.
