Hi Hippo , had oil leak around the base of gearbox , and the transfer box . Cleaned it up etc and checked it couple of days later . Same again , cut a long story short . It was oil from off side drive shaft seal where it goes into the gearbox , that was leaking and running down etc . Had to take it in , not a job I could do . They changed both front drive shaft seals inner / outer plus a sleeve , then gearbox and transfer seals . Apart from my wallet it’s all good now .

Many thanks for the reply . It didn’t work, both front drive shaft seals and gearbox , and transfer box seals all changed , all good but expensive!! . Thanks again
