I am trying to identify the gearbox of my 90 200Tdi (disco). It must be a LT77, but the serial number stamped on it, doesn't seem to make sense. Can anyone help me out

?

its not an original number so its not a lot of help,what do you need to know

Can it be a model used on some other brand car, so that it isn't very suitable for a Land Rover? I might then look around allready for an exchange model...
Also, if I need parts, it's useful to know for which model.
