hi to u all, got a bit of a problem with my 1996 p38 2.5 dse, in the fast lane as all landies do, doing 70ish when all of a sudden revs went through the roof, took my foot off the throttle put it back on again revs went up but had no drive at all had been driving for about 40 miles no warning that anything was wrong, gearbox fault came up on dash. checked transmision fluid was quit high on dipstick, rac man didant seem to know what the problem was, can any of you guys and girls help, i feel it could be pump seals or electrical?

Transfer box gone into neutral? As you got the gearbox fault message and it didn't go into limp mode, it could be electrical/electronic.

Sorry to high jack someone else's thread again but I jave had very similar prob but I put it into low range then back again and I had drive again! Also maybe unrelated of I put my foot down at speed the revs dance about. Could this be the device that locks up at speed not locking up, sorry don't now the name? Cheers for any help i currently ib process of finding some one to change all the fluids
