the oil in the boxes should come up level with those holes on the sides, so you know its not over filled, but you also need to check the transfer box plug too, do a google search and there's loads of photos. You'll probably end up buying that whole plate, nss is it?

This is the box filler hole isn't it ?. It should have a rubber cap, held on by a leafspring to make filling the box easy-peasy ?

I'd say if it's ****ing out of here, then the box is overfilled.....and probably not breathing properly, either ?

Ooh, not seen one of those - mine's just got the filler hole on the side. I've got a steel plate with a tiny hole on the top of my box.

Thanks, mine has a metal plug in the hole as the photo shows it is sealed in, how do you know weather it is breathing properly

Thanks

Hi All
Thanks for all your help, I have sorted the problem, the small dome in my photo is the breather fixed to the black plate this had at some point been pushed down I have pulled it back up and the leak has stopped, you were right it was not breathing properly all you comments has lead to a successful outcome.

cheers
