Got a problem with gearbox I think! On cold start when I put into gear, message centre says gear selected. But vehicle will not move, on forward takes around 4-10 seconds depending on how cold it is. If I need to reverse can take up to 30 seconds to engage.
Have done the gearbox filter and replaced oil, but still same problem
Also get a rattle from what seem like the back n/s silencer but yet again only happen on cold start-up.
Have been underneath on start-up with ear to transfer box and back diff, can hear no noise. Seems to be coming from where the n/s back box is. Did not stick my ear to the back box. ;-)
Not sure if I have 2 problems, but like I say, after a couple of min no noise and the box works as should do both is sports and low range.
