Hey guys (and gals),
Been squandering through this great forum for a couple of weeks now and decided it was time to join and share my Land Rover stories and hopefully provide some information. Even though I live in Australia i'm still a born pommie (the only reason why i'd be silly enough to buy a Land Rover) :p Just got myself a 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300TDi with 320000km's on the clock. It's in great shape as it's only previous owner was a retired diesel mechanic so it's in top nick for its age. My first car was a 1974 Series III which we (my Dad and I) put power steering in and was my daily driver for a year which I loved, when I needed to upgrade for more space and something waterproof (Due to Australia's current torrential rain  ) I had to go another Land Rover and the Disco seemed the way to go so that became my second car :D I've got some serious plans for the Disco as there are some great tracks here and 4wding is the best way to see the wonders of this place. I'll be starting a thread in the Disco 1 section to follow the build of my Disco with plenty of pictures :)
Cheers,

Here's my two rigs:

The Series III is awesome, extremely capable off-road too with the M/T tyres on there. Shame I have to sell it but hopefully the Disco can live up to it.

Welcome to the forum Goosey, love the series lll its a good looking motor I can understand why you're sad to sell it. Disco looks good.
