The pitch invasion was a minor retaliation on years of tratterers frequenting this ere Freelander section with mischief, contempt and p*ss taking. Not that many years later they're now buying Freelander's cheap. Freelander's rule.

Peeps buy freelander's because they want a go anywhere vehicle, with power and comfort, on or oft road. They're cheaper than other lr products because the others are over priced.

They certainly are overpriced.

But it wasn't always that way. When I first started driving Series, you could buy a runner with a year's ticket for 500 quid, and they were much cheaper than the other available 4wds.
Obviously, this was before Defenders, Discos, etc. You could get Range Rovers, but they were always expensive.
