Does anyone know where to get a Gates timing belt kit for 300tdi.

I googled and searched but get nowhere.

I've been searching on here for info on belts, and Dayco comes up a lot along with Gates. I know Dayco are a good make, but like to 'research' things before buying.

Any pointers ???? ......

after much searching............seems like Gates don't do 300tdi belts.

so Dayco kit it is then.

do I need to replace any of the seals as well ??

I have A gates timing belt on my 300tdi I will have a look in the morning I have the part no somwere

Dayco are a very good brand, OEM equivalent for Land Rover

I bought a genuine Land Rover serpentine belt and it was stamped with Dayco, so safe to say that land rover are happy with Dayco's quality. Land Rover also recommend various tensioners made by Dayco as an OEM equivalent.
