I thought this was the car for me, sadly not true.(1.8 52 plate gs)
i bought this a few weeks ago in goodish weather.but during the cold snap i took a cup o tea out to the car in the morning to warm her up before work. Now its hard to explain this, but tea and the morning makes me fart.
No problem i will just open the window, but NO they wont open at all in the cold, not for weeks!.Is this a land rover safety feature for the winter or to save the enviroment? my crv never had this problem. thoughts?

I suggest you do a search for EGR.

If you can arrange for an under-seat intake duct forwards through the bulkead to the intake manifold the possibility for an increase in mpg should be more than possible.

A worthwhile 'green' conversion to natural gas.

or maybe waving my lighter in the air like im a west life fan at 7 am till the spring will work, untill my windows open?

So farting aside....and assuming that the windows dont work at all - first check the e/window relay (Number 5 inside the cab )...swap it with another one and see if they work for you.

frost on the windows could stop them going down or a blown fuse you should have struck a match that would have warmed things up a bit
