What are you planning on spilling in your garage? I wouldn't try it on petrol.

Why mot? Would love to see the Karcher warranty claim...and quite possibly burnt down garage buildings insurance claim. Would make for an interesting read...

We have one of those, proved to be really useful, particularly for cleaning out a blocked dishwasher.
My only complaint is the bag is a bit small, so I’ve made a vortex pre-cleaner for when I’m woodworking.

Lol... I would certainly not recommend its use with a petrol spillage, you may find out that you would be looking for a new workshop sooner than you would like

That’s stupid. You don’t need to vac up petrol spillages. You just flick a fag in them and they disappear in seconds.

Maybe chuck a bit of thinners in to ensure an efficient burn

I suggest that you have a look at this wet and dry vacuum cleaner . It is really superb and I like having a proper vacuum. Sometimes it is worth spending more, but get a decent product. Moosoo have a good reputation and spares are available.
