it lifts to a height of 43cms ,how far is that above your rear trailing arm bracket or front radius arm

We keep one of those on each of the Recovery trucks - good bit of kit for occasional use.
For landy work I prefer to put the trolley jack on a wooden block (8x3 with notches to hold the wheels) rather than work with the jack at full extension.

just looking to lift it enough really to get the wheels off and get axle stands under, back of the 110 is a right pita ,i normally jack it up on the axle

I have a 4 ton halfords bottle jack is there anywhere that does a head adapter to make it useable under an axle etc or is it something I will have to make myself?

The £39.99 one's OK, but a bigger one would make life a whole lot easier. Like a few people in this thread I bought the biggest trolley jack I could find for around £100 and it's been excellent. Much less stress on the jack (so I hope it'll last longer) and it feels a lot more stable - I wouldn't want to go back to messing about with little jacks now.

Second that, I bought a machine mart trolley jack for just over a £100 and it's lifted everything I've thrown at it , Mk3 mondeo , P38a, my 2a 109' and the whole front end of my mates 90's when his wheel nuts came loose lol
