Didn't the OP say it had td5 body and puma doors, sounds like a bitsa or a ringer
Well not really. Doors are often replaced on a Defender. And wings are often damaged, so may well be replaced during a rebuild. And either way, none of these things are cared about at all in regards to the DVLA or your V5. No body work is.

Would depend on the price and other factors. But I don't seen any rational reason why not.

I mean given the choice, if you where wanting a running/driving Defender would you buy one with an MoT failed rusted chassis, rotted out doors and bash in wings. Or one the had been rebuilt on a replacement chassis with tidy body work and functioning doors?
