I am looking around my new acquisition and totting up the chassis work. Where is the best place to pick up a new 109 chassis and what sort of price for a decent one is realistic.
Prices online seem to vary from 1.8k to 3k, there must be a difference for the cash?

Buying direct from Richards is one way (mine cost just over £2000) with extra fuel tank hangers and bolt up x-member that was two years ago though...I really need to pull my finger out!

Currently Richards Richards OR Richards Marsland are not currently producing series chassis concentrating on Defender ones ....Designa chassis at Doncaster seem to only be making series chassis with coil springs fitted

The other options: Britpart - they came from Richards last time I asked. I got my SWB one from Ribble Valley - mainly because they had it in stock and I didn't want to wait for it direct from Richards.

I had found richards and Designachassis, so looks like I have the main suppliers. I had tried Richards first to see if they are producing before proceeding. Thanks for the confirmation/pointers.

that's a bit annoying if Richards are no longer producing, was going to treat myself to a new chassis at xmas

Richards ARE it's Marslands that have ceased series chassis production.
