Hi all.
Just became a member, so hi to everyone for the 1st time!

Im looking for a G4 exp Roof rack and ladder for my TD4 . 5dr.
I have tried Saftey Devices but unfortunately they would only make another batch if atleast 10-15 people placed an order. Would anyone know where i could find a good 2nd hand one or have a copy of one made?

Rocking horse ...... Hens teeth....... Holy grail

Gave up on one of those years ago

Just got a genuine land rover one cheap off eBay..... Currently modifying it so that its full length

Just have to figure out best way of mounting it in roof rail mounting points to get it close to roof


Won't look as good as an outrack but for the price !!!

Bolted through the hardback though. I know most of us don't remove it but that's a bit drastic.

plus... that's nothing more than a few lengths of box section welded together. You could knock one out for about £50, and bolt onto some actual roof rail fittings.

For £250, I'd want some tubular steel at least! :lol:

yeh, its only for 3 doors aswell, fair play to the guy though, it doesn't look too bad

+1, got mine almost done with help from NeedleNose. Its really strong and it can be made however you like. And not that expensive
