Perhaps the 58+ didn't know what the expect with a title like "fuses for rear heated windscreen / high level brake light?" then find that u are looking for a short circuit, there's no difference in a Land Rover to any other car, just get a wiring diagram and info on the fuse locations both are in a Haynes manual and trace from there, a short in the wiring could be any where, first place is inside the back door and the wiring that goes through the rubber conduit..
And :welcome2:

Just as matter of interest my sister called me last week to say her brake lights had stopped working .
I always ask had any other repairs been carried out before the 'new' problem appeared .
She said the top hinge had been replaced on the rear door .
Turned out the wire from the heated rear window and the high level brakelight had been trapped between the hinge and door - eventually causing a dead short in the brake circuit. And I suppose the HRW would be next .
Was a 98 300 Tdi by the way

thats exactly what was wrong with the heater wire it was trapped and bared, as for the brake light hee hee my nephew who tested the light was wrong the bulb was shot..o another fix was the door getting adjusted on the hinges,we lined up the old marks and now the door sits good with no leak now cheers
