Morning all,

Trying to figure out a battery drain on my 2003 L322.

I plugged a current tester in all my fuses and the one outlier was Fuse 49. To give some context these are a few of the readings of the amp being drawn when car is off:

Fuse No 18 (0.11)

Fuse 12 (0.28)

Fuse 46 (0.21)

Fuse 49 (1.9)

Two things - Firstly, unplugging fuse 49 didn’t actually cause my drain to stop. And I had already unplugged the front wipers fuse so I know that’s not causing the drain.
The other culprit, the FSR, is actually working fine and isn’t playing up so I don’t think that’s causing a drain either.

Any suggestions on where else to look? I have a 5amp multimeter so I can do more tests if someone runs me through that please.

Secondly, even if fuse49 was the culprit, taking out the fuse means no more radio which isn’t ideal. Is there any workaround that?

Thank you all for your help!! :)

Check all the electronics in the boot left side behind the trim. Water leaks into that area are common.

As Datatek suggested. Mine is 2007 so fuse layout may be different, but mine was the amp located on the left side of the boot. Battery would go from fully charged to 10v overnight....
