Hi, I've had a freelander for about 6 months and love it - but when I have the heater on I get petrol fumes inside the car. I don't get it when the recycling is on , but then everthing steams up. - Any ideas

does it have aircon? and does it work i get the same problem and have been told could be the aircon needs re gassing

It does have aircon - I'm not sure if it works or not.
There hasn't been much need for it so far!
I'll get it checked out, Thanks

"Petrol fumes" If this is really the case then you should be looking around the fuel system.

Yes what Chaser say's ,youv'e got a fuel leak and it need sorting ASAP . . .; .

could possibly be a crank breather pipe split, had this problem on a punto unsure if the freelander petrol has one though :-|
