Just bought a service kit of the net, all the filters really. Just need to know what oil is good for the Disco? Is 10w/40 semi synthetic ok as I have a barrel of it here that I was given - still sealed

Just answered my own question lol

Found this Land Rover Discovery 300TDi Service Filter Kit and Oil on eBay (end time 26-Feb-11 12:29:01 GMT)

I've got 55 gallons to use now

Carefull that it doesn't say Land Rover on the barrel as it will leak on to your drive!

I've had more oil on my drive from the transit than all the cars here added up (including the landy). Landy doesn't seem to be leaking at the moment

Lucky man... I still got to do my oil change..... got the filter but not gone any further.....lol

No the feeling, mines now past it's six month service date, I'm trying to align the services with slight warmer weather, got all the stuff in ready, just waiting.

Get out there are bloody do it lol.

Been out today welding the bloody transit rear cross member...... cold but sunny = hot but cold

That means is empty then, so get some of the 55 gallons in quick
