200 tdis and earlier use cable and bracket on t/box ,cable and bracket differ between disco and defender ,cable because of lever and bracket because disco has the 2 rear securing holes on side of speedo housing defender on the rear ,easy to drill and tap 2 more holes , 300 disco and defender hand brakes use direct cable so no holes for a bracket in speedo housing on t/box ,but cables again differ but can be swapped as brake assembly is the same ,and speedo housing can be drilled for earlier type if wanted , defender cables for 200 and 300 differ as do levers , as for pump id not look at fuel screw but adjust boost diaphragm

Don't worry about hijacking, james is a wealth of knowledge that we can all use!

Yea, everyone says James is the wizard here, smart guy with tons of knowledge and experience.

Though the forums is for sharing and assisting, sometimes I wish we can compensate guys like James somehow.

I used to give tons of advice on other forums too and even had my own forums a while back but still cant say enough thanks to people like him.

I am happy you did not feel like your thread was being hi jacked, after all it's all about Landy gearbox swapping and maybe all the info here, can help others in the future too.

Cheers mates and thanks again James. :)
