No I haven't, I have the main beam feeding into a three way switch (on, off, on with main beam) which then feeds a fused relay. It has been a while since I have had a new to me land rover, I had forgotten all the "clever" things previous owners do as I have already been through fixed them a long time ago

I think spots are meant to be wired via a dash switch so that you can opt whether the come on with full beam.
