Got a TD5 10p defender
Symptoms are runs at idle absolutely fine take it for a drive and after 1/2 mile it cuts out pump not running.
Replaced pump as old one was gurgling.
Replaced filter housing still same .
Injector loom had oil in so replaced that too and cleaned ECU still same .
Replaced fuel pressure regulator still same.
Bypassed pump relay by shorting out plug still same
Injector seals were replaced 300 miles ago.
Any ideas as bank balance is dwindling
 
That’s been similar thinking all along can’t find any leaks but why when it cuts out is pump not running
Sorry mate, I was just thinking out loud really. TBH I'm not familiar with the Td5. Is the pump not permanently on from the ignition? ie not ECU controlled?

It’s ecu controlled I believe. Am going to add an extra earth to the ecu as I’m told that is a common problem
