So my lovely machine decided that it doesn't want to play nice at the moment and has decided to Spit out it's fuel, it's not a big leak but going to have the tank replaced. The labour is free (its being used to train some people), but I need to supply the parts,

I know I need a new tank, will replace sender but do I have an in tank pump to replace?
It's a 1997 110 300tdi, nothing under the bonnet is out of the ordinary.

I know there's a million posts on fuel tanks but I can't find one that says if I need that pump or not (if I do ill replace it)

Cheers all

no you dont need anything else

the pump is mounted to the engine - mechanical lift pump

if you need help at all regarding the fuel tank if you pm wolf - he is like THE MAN for changing fuel tanks (especially on 110's)
